Abstract

In this paper new features in the actual release of LS-DYNA will be presented and an outlook into future developments will be given.
Actual performance improvements for massively parallel hardware infrastructure for both explicit and implicit applications will be shown. Also the usage of GPGPU can give considerable sppedups. Isogeometric elements can be used in an MPP parallel fashion as well. All new capabilities are shown with applications from car crash or metal forming applications.
