Abstract

It has been 25 years since the DCNS French Group purchased Flowmaster. DCNS Group is organized in multisite teams and collaborative projects are set up between them. In 2007, due to some issues related to the different versions used between sites and to the difficulty to work on the same project easily, a new need raised up.
The need is to transfer all their data on a single Oracle database and to interface this latter with their Technical Information System. All the steps needed to migrate data to an Oracle database and to update them from a version to another one are introduced.
